Dinosaur Sr., the Dinosaur Jr. cover band, with Kurt Watson on the skins,
Debra Shooter on bass, Ralph Hampton on guitar and "Mad" Brad Welk on
harmonica and vocals, will be churning out pounding paleolithic tunage
this Friday Night in the Meridian Room at Chook Industries Friday
After-Hours Party. Come out, have a beer and kick back. And please
support the band by picking up their own original single available on
cassette, "Crystal Bird".
There have been queries concerning the box of Rollingstone magazines, which apparently did not contain any magazines, but instead only soap shavings, dirt and rocks. This was probably due to a misunderstanding with Maintenance that should be resolved by tomorrow morning, at which time the Rollingstone magazine box will be in clear view.
100 copies of this month's edition of Rollingstone Magazine have been left in the Post Room free for employees to pick up. Please take more than one if you think your friends or family might like a copy.
Don't forget! Friday is pot-luck lunch day. Come prepared or else!
The Moto Moto shoemobile (which used to be the Thunder-O shoemobile) will once again be at Chook Industries on Friday at
2 PM. The truck will be located in Lot C. Chook Industries has agreed to reimburse all employees up to $75.00 towards
shoe purchase as part of this years early bird Christmas Bonus. Moto Moto will accept cash, check or credit card for the
It is not appropriate behavior to put pictures of bathroom "skidz" for ranking on the
Big Bulletin Board. This area is designated for serious posting.
Wanted, drummer for Dinosaur Jr. tribute band called Dinosaur Sr. If you are interested please email Kurt Watson.
In the past it has been common practice at Chook Industries to post notices and flyers on doors. However, yesterday, an
employee lost his tooth, when a door with a sign on it he was reading unexpectedly opened and caught him in the mouth. It
was lucky the employee wasn't any shorter, otherwise the door knob would have gone in his eye and in all likelihood blinded
him for life. To ensure that these accidents do not happen in the future, please do not put signs, non-essential notices, stickers
or stamps on doors. This does not apply to Chook Industries Notices (C.I.N.s).
Please help yourself to the "free" soap shavings outside Larry's office.
Due to recent vandalism, all the paper towel dispensers have been removed
from the bathrooms. Until further notice, or the perpetrator(s) is
identified, no bathrooms will have paper towels.
The repairs on the Chook Industries Cafeteria (CHC) were not performed on Monday due to worker illness. They have been rescheduled for Wednesday, 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The CHC will then be closed for the rest of the day for cleaning. Please note that it is against company policy to consume food outside of the CHC.
Message from Larry Snow: As this year's Christmas Bonus, there will be a
trip to Chinchilla. All are invited to come to this enchanted land! MERRY

Wow Pam. So you think of TJ as a man? Do you picture him chopping
lumber? That type of man? Or is he more like the "When a man loves a
woman" song? Pammy!!! Pam and TJ sitting in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G,
first comes love, then comes marriage then comes a baby in the baby
The Chook Industries Cafeteria (CHC) will be closed on Monday for repairs. The timing of the repairs will be set so as to cause minimal disturbance. Please remember that despite this, employees are only allowed to eat during their scheduled lunch shift.
