I wasn't a big fan of the headband thing, but that was sort of an indicator the era. He really puts his blood & guts into his performances however. I guess I was referring to the "new Music" and how it's morphed into a sort of giant ball of homogenized pap. Sure there are great musicians but not much in the way of innovation and Generally the quality of songwriting is at an all time low. As a lover of music I can rely on past greats and the occasional new song that lays me out. I really try to stay away from the radio, and the "new band on the block" syndrome. Hey remember when MTV meant MUSIC television?
