But look at it this way: Bush wins the electoral vote, therefore according to our laws, he wins the presidency. Thus it follows that there really isn't anything to bitch about. The electoral college votes with their states (usually), and Bush won the most electoral votes.

Now for a personal commentary. I'm in the military, and I have some truly mixed feelings about this election. First off, neither canditate struck me as the kind of person I'd want to lead our nation. I personally would have voted for McCain in this election had he won the primary. Neither candidate posseses the charisma and dynamic leadership neccesary to truly lead. Secondly, I had disagreements with both candidates. Bush wants to rape the Alaskan wilderness by drilling for oil up there. I love Alaska, it's one of the most beautiful places left on earth. Gore is no better, however. He wants to remove my right to keep and bear arms, and is pro-abortion. I eventually voted Bush because he seemed to be the lesser of two evils.
