A recent Employee BBS post read "It is the Chook Industries BBS Task
    Force's (CIBBSTF)'s belief..." Isn't that a bit prescriptive and
overhanded on the Employee BBS's part? It the belief? Maybe I'm over
reacting. It is just a comment.

Please check your mails for typos in the future. In the line "It the belief" you forgot the word "is". Although the Chook Industries BBS Task Force (CIBBSTF) did not use it's editorial privileges this time; it does reserve right to use them in the future. Additionally when addressing the Chook Industries BBS Task Force (CIBBSTF), do so by its proper name and not by "Employee BBS". The Employee BBS and the Chook Industries BBS Task Force (CIBBSTF) are two very separate things.

  • Jim Shooter would like to remind employees to please not use change from the Lion Mints can to purchase sodas. This money goes to charity.

  • The Chook Industries BBS Task Force (CIBBSTF) apologizes for the incorrect information posted in yesterdays "Today in History" fact. Chevy Chase was born on October 8, 1943. This was an honest mistake, but in the future could employees please proof read their mails so that this doesn't happen again in the future.

  • Bjorn Carlson submitted the following Today in History fact. On this day, October 31st, comedian Chevy Chase was born.

  • The Chook Industries BBS Task Force (CIBBSTF) would like to encourage staff to send in relevant "Today in History" facts for the Chook Employee BBS. It is the Chook Industries BBS Task Force's (CIBBSTF)'s belief that when there is minimal work-related information to post, Chook Staff want mental exercise. The Chook Industries BBS Task Force (CIBBSTF) would like to recommend that staff submit trivia in the form of "Today in History" facts.

  • Several of Chook Industries secure pages were hacked the other day. As a result Chook Industries has taken action against the hacker in addition to upping security.

  • Chook Industries will be selling an honorary employee position. If you are interested in becoming an honorary employee of Chook please email Cliff Woodman. The position costs $19.95. Privileges include a web page maintained by Chook and a Chook Industries honorary employee certificate.

  • Since the changing of guard of the Chook Industries BBS Task Force (CIBBSTF) is now complete it has come to the floor as to whether or not the Chook Industries BBS Task Force (CIBBSTF) should, or should not change its name. Until further notice, the name of the Chook Industries BBS Task Force (CIBBSTF) will remain the same. If you have thoughts on this, could you please send your comments and suggestions to the the CIBBSTF.

  • Since there have been no updates to the Chook web site in the past month, the Chook Industries BBS Task Force (CIBBSTF) would like to remind everyone that Hackers are on the net. Hackers are not FAKE and something that Hollywood conjured up. They are very real and as such are threats to the Chook Industries and associates. Please be sure to read whom mails are from. IF YOU DO NOT KNOW DELETE THAT MAIL IMMEDIATELY. One single virus could effectively shut down Chook Computer Systems (CCS). If would like more information on hackers, please contact the Chook Industries BBS Task Force (CIBBSTF).
